Our Story
All this brewing history culminated during the summer of 2013 with the opening of Diebolt Brewing Company in the up-and-coming North Denver neighborhood of Sunnyside. While initially we focused on exploring our French ancestry and heritage through beer styles, we have continued to adjust our approach to brewing as the desire and popularity for new and unique styles shift throughout the years.
In addition to traditional French Saison and Biere de Gardes, we also brew a wide variety of IPAs, Dark and Light Lagers, Fruited Sours, Barrel Aged Stouts, historical beers, and a never-ending supply of experimental offerings. We’ve also received national and international acclaim for our beers with a Great American Beer Festival Silver Medal for Braggarts Brown Ale and a World Beer Cup Gold Medal for Vladislav, Barrel Aged Imperial Stout.
Our 8000 sq/ft production facility is housed in an old brick building originally created as a Government meat packaging facility in the 1950s. The heart of our operation is a 15 barrel brewhouse with a mix of 15 and 30 barrel tanks, giving us a total of 210 barrels of fermentation capacity at any given time. All of our products are brewed, fermented, and packaged onsite and self-distributed in cans, bottles, and kegs throughout the Denver-Metro area and up and down the Front Range of Colorado.
Swing on by our small, yet quaint, tasting room and sip on one of our many draft beers while admiring the shiny grandeur of a well-run, family owned and operated, micro-brewery. Our passion is palpable, our creativity inspiring, and our dedication and hard work is evident in everything we do.
Cheers!
